The Lake District, it must be one of the most walked areas in the country. What could be easier than a gentle stroll up the Old Man of Coniston from the camp site or maybe a walk up Helvellyn via striding edge ending the day with a pint of Bluebird Bitter (or two). Those clouds around the summit look a bit daunting though…damn.
Snowdonia, another great place to explore. Lets take a nice easy stroll up Snowdon via the Pig Path from the youth hostel. A quick up and down then into Llanberis for a pub lunch. Crap!, are those snow flakes?.
